• Salary: €10,000 for the month + potential charter tips.
Vessel Details:
• A 70m+ private and charter motor yacht is currently seeking an experienced Temporary Head Chef to join the vessel for the entire month of September.
• Operating a busy dual-season programme between the Mediterranean and Caribbean, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a professionally run yacht with an excellent reputation and a varied cruising itinerary.
Position Overview:
• This is a temporary Head Chef position requiring someone who is confident leading the galley and delivering exceptional cuisine for both owner use and potential charter trips.
• An owner’s trip is anticipated during the first week of September, with the remainder of the month’s schedule to be confirmed. The successful candidate will be responsible for menu planning, provisioning, galley organisation, and consistently delivering an outstanding culinary experience.
• A trial at the owner’s private residence may be required prior to joining.
Requirements:
• Candidates should have previous experience working as a Head Chef onboard similar-sized motor yachts, ideally within both private and charter programmes.
• Strong organisational skills, creativity, and the ability to adapt to changing schedules are essential.
• The yacht is looking for someone who is available for the entire month of September and capable of stepping into a busy programme with minimal handover.
• You must hold a valid Schengen visa/European passport in hand to be considered for this role.
• The package includes a salary of €10,000 for the month (inclusive of leave accrual), together with the opportunity to receive charter tips for any charters that may happen during that period of work.
• Start date: 1st September (for approx. one month).
