• Title: TEMPORARY CAPTAIN for a 50m private motor yacht.
• Employment Type: Temporary (approx 1 week).
• Salary: Very strong day-rate on offer (in EURO).
• Location: Mediterranean.
Vessel Details:
• A 50m motor yacht is currently seeking an experienced Temporary Captain to join the vessel from the 30th of August until the 5th of September for a short passage.
• The successful candidate will join in Genoa and take command of the vessel for the passage across to Athens.
Position Overview:
• This is a short-term Temp Captain position only with primary responsibility for the safe and efficient transit of the yacht from Italy to Greece.
• The successful candidate will take command for the duration of the passage, working alongside the existing crew and ensuring all navigational, operational, and safety requirements are managed to a high standard.
• The yacht is looking for someone who can step onboard, familiarise themselves with the vessel quickly, and confidently take command with minimal handover.
Requirements:
• You must hold a Master 3000 ticket in hand and have proven command experience onboard similar-sized vessels.
• You must hold a valid Schengen visa or European passport in hand for this role.
• Mediterranean cruising and passage-planning experience is essential, alongside excellent navigation, leadership, and communication skills.
• The package offers a very competitive day-rate (in EURO) for the duration of the contract.
• Start date: 30th of August.
