Rotational SOLE ENGINEER required on 40m+ sail yacht in Singapore

We are seeking a Rotational Sole Engineer to join a 40m+ high-performance sailing yacht currently based in Asia, with an exciting Indian Ocean cruising programme planned for approximately the next 12 months. For this reason the position would suit someone with a sense of adventure and enjoys exploring off the beaten track.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong technical background, proven experience aboard yachts of a similar size, and a genuine passion for sailing.
The vessel operates privately and may undertake charter in the future. They run with a total crew of 6.
REQUIREMENTS
– Minimum 2 years of engineering experience aboard yachts of 35m+.
– AEC 1/2 minimum
– Sailing experience is essential ideally aboard performance sailing yachts.
– Yachtmaster qualification required for watchkeeping duties.
– Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
– Solid, verifiable professional references are essential.
– A proactive, reliable, and hands-on approach to onboard engineering and maintenance.
PACKAGE & BENEFITS
– Rotation: 10 weeks on / 10 weeks off.
– Salary: $5,500–$6,000 DOE
– Bonus: 13th-month salary following each 12 months served.
– Training: Additional training allowance may be supported at the owner’s discretion.
– Start date: Within the next 2 weeks.
