A 45m+ private sailing yacht is seeking a rotational Captain to join at the end of June, in the Seychelles.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and hands-on Captain to lead operations in one of the world’s most remote and picturesque cruising regions.
The ideal candidate will hold, at a minimum, STCW, a valid ENG1, and a Master 500GT certification, with at least 5+ years of yachting experience. A strong sailing background is essential.
Candidates should have either held a Captain position previously or be a seasoned Chief Officer with proven longevity on large sailing yachts.
The successful applicant will be confident operating in remote locations, demonstrate strong leadership and organisational skills, and be capable of managing both vessel and crew to a high standard.
Diving experience and a solid foundation in engineering are advantageous, though not essential.
The package offers a 3:3 rotation and a salary of up to USD 13,500 per month, depending on experience.
The yacht will operate in the South Indian Ocean for the foreseeable future, cruising areas including the Seychelles, Mauritius, and Madagascar.
