Vessel: 36m Commercial Motor Yacht – Maltese Flag
Base: South of France
Cruising Area: Mediterranean (Italy, Croatia, Montenegro confirmed)
We are currently seeking a competent and hands-on Engineer to join a 36m commercially operated motor yacht under the Maltese flag, based in the South of France and cruising throughout the Mediterranean.
The ideal candidate will be technically strong, organized, and proactive, with a professional attitude and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Full responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all engineering systems onboard
Planned preventative maintenance of main engines, generators, and auxiliary systems
Ensuring compliance with commercial regulations and flag state requirements
Maintaining accurate engineering logs and documentation
Providing support to other departments when required to ensure smooth vessel operations
Requirements:
Valid engineering certification appropriate for a 36m commercial vessel
Previous yachting experience preferred
Experience with Volvo Penta engines and systems considered a strong advantage
Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on mentality
Fluent English
