Vessel Details:
• A 40m private and charter motor yacht is currently searching for a Chief Stewardess to join the vessel in November in the South of France!
• The yacht operates a single-season Mediterranean programme, with a predominantly private schedule and occasional charters throughout the summer.
• Based around the SoF/Monaco region, the yacht is regularly used by its owners during the week, with a relatively structured daily routine outside of guest trips and charters.
• This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Stewardess looking to step into her first Chief Stewardess position, or an established Chief Stewardess seeking a long-term role with an attractive salary, annual bonus and increasing leave entitlement.
Position Overview:
• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the interior department, maintaining high standards across housekeeping, laundry, guest service and the general day-to-day running of the yacht.
• During the winter months, the Chief Stewardess will work alongside a Deck/Stewardess, with an additional temporary Stewardess joining for the busier summer season.
• The yacht operates a family-oriented programme, welcoming both the owners and their children, alongside private guests and charter clients during the summer months.
• The yacht is looking for someone who is confident working independently, enjoys taking responsibility and can adapt comfortably between quieter periods and busy guest operations.
• This position would particularly suit someone with a positive, approachable personality who is looking to establish themselves within a long-term programme and grow alongside the vessel.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a senior interior position is preferred, although experienced Second Stewardesses looking to step up into their first Chief Stewardess role will also be considered.
• You should have a strong understanding of housekeeping, laundry and guest service, alongside the organisational skills required to manage a small interior department.
• Excellent communication skills, a professional attitude and the ability to work independently are essential.
• A valid Schengen visa/European passport must be in hand.
• Small, discreet tattoos may be considered.
• Salary: Strong salary range per month, DOE.
• Annual leave: 42 days initially, increasing to 70 days for Heads of Department.
• Additional benefits include a 5% annual salary increase, a Christmas bonus equivalent to 10% of annual salary and an equal share of charter gratuities.
• Joining location: France.
• Start date: November, with flexibility around 19 November.
