Vessel Details:
• An 85m+ private and charter motor yacht is currently recruiting for a Rotational Second Officer to join the vessel around the 19th of November, offering a 2:2 rotation and a strong salary (in EURO) per month.
• The yacht is currently on its way to the US, with plans to spend approximately six months cruising in the United States before returning to the Mediterranean for the summer season.
• This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Officer looking to join a large private and charter motor yacht with an established international cruising programme and an attractive rotational package.
Position Overview:
• The successful candidate will work closely with the bridge team, assisting with the safe navigation, operation and general management of the vessel throughout its cruising programme.
• Responsibilities will include navigational watch-keeping, passage planning, bridge procedures, safety equipment inspections and supporting the yacht’s operational and safety management requirements.
• The position will involve working alongside the wider deck department, ensuring that navigational and safety standards are consistently maintained during both private and charter operations.
• The yacht is looking for someone who is confident in their abilities, organised and proactive, with a professional attitude and the ability to integrate comfortably into an established crew.
Requirements:
• Candidates must hold a valid OOW 3000 ticket to be considered for this role.
• You must have previous experience in an Officer position onboard large motor yachts.
• A strong understanding of navigational watch-keeping, bridge operations and safety procedures is essential.
• You must hold a valid B1/B2 visa and Schengen visa/European passport in hand for this role.
• Rotation: 2 months on/2 months off.
• Programme: Private and charter, US/Mediterranean. The yacht has also ventured further afield in years prior.
• Start date: Approximately 19th of November.
