CHIEF OFFICER for a 50m private motor yacht seeking permanent position

• Title: CHIEF OFFICER for a 50m private motor yacht.
• Employment Type: Permanent (60 days leave).
• Salary: Strong salary on offer (in EURO).
• Location: Mediterranean.
Vessel Details:
• A 50m private motor yacht is currently seeking a Chief Officer to join the vessel on a permanent basis, starting preferably within the next week!
• The yacht operates a private, single-season programme and is looking for a professional Chief Officer seeking a stable, long-term position.
• Multinational crew onboard.
Position Overview:
• The successful candidate will work closely with the Captain and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the deck department, ensuring consistently high standards across operations, maintenance and crew management.
• The Chief Officer should be confident across bridge operations, navigation and watchkeeping, whilst remaining hands-on and involved with the wider deck team when required.
• The yacht is looking for someone mature, professional and exceptionally discreet, with strong leadership and organisational skills and an understanding of the standards expected within a highly confidential private programme.
Requirements:
• Candidates must hold a valid Chief Mate 3000GT certificate as a minimum requirement.
• Strong previous Chief Officer experience onboard similar-sized private motor yachts is preferred.
• Excellent navigation, bridge management, leadership and deck-management skills are required.
• You must hold a valid Schengen visa/European passport in hand for this role.
• Strong salary on offer for the right candidate (paid in EURO) and 60 days leave per year.
• Start date: preferably within the next 7 days.
