Great opportunity for an experienced Deckhand/Dive Instructor to join a 49m+ support vessel with a private/charter world cruising itinerary.
This is a great position for someone who is active, ready to hit the ground running, enjoys adventure and is a team player. This vessel is a support vessel but it still runs at a high standard and professionalism and attention to detail is still expected.
Diving is a big part of the operations with 1-2 dives a day with guests however you will still be expected to be involved in normal deck duties on board. The successful candidate will be expected to provide safe, reliable and friendly dive guidance for guests, as well as occasional guest and crew PADI certification and look after the dive equipment on board.
Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience. Yacht Rating or Yacht Master is advantageous.
Cruising itinerary is focused on the South Pacific, with exciting and remote diving locations combined with heavy support-yacht operations, including large tenders, cranes and heli ops.
Someone who genuinely enjoys the diving side of the role but is equally comfortable with the hard-working deck operations that come with a support vessel will do well in this role.
Salary € 4000 – 4500 DOE.
90 days leave. Please note this is not a 3:1 rotation.
Start date early to Mid- September.
Will be joining the vessel in Borneo/Thailand.
