Rotational CHIEF OFFICER required on 70m+ sail yacht in France

A prestigious large charter sailing yacht, currently in France and undergoing a comprehensive 10-year out-of-water refit, is seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join the team in early September.
This is a rare opportunity for a passionate sailor to become part of an iconic sailing yacht during of the most significant phases of its history.

The successful candidate will be shore-based throughout the refit, playing a key role in preparing the yacht for her return to service.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Extensive large sailing yacht experience
A minimum of two years’ experience as a Chief Officer or in a similar senior deck role
A minimum of a Chief Mate 3000, with Master 3000 highly preferred
Proven longevity in previous positions
Previous experience with major refits or new-build projects
Strong leadership skills with the confidence to manage and mentor a professional deck team

The yacht is expected to complete her extensive refit in mid-2027, offering the successful candidate the unique opportunity to be involved from the yard period through to relaunch and future charter operations.
