This is an exciting opportunity to join a 50m+ private sailing yacht that has recently completed a major refit and is maintained to an exceptionally high standard.
The yacht operates with an established engineering department, including a Second Engineer, and has an exciting world cruising programme ahead.
Position Details
• Position: Chief Rotational Engineer
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Mediterranean / World Cruising Programme
• Contract: Permanent Rotational
• Salary: Competitive, DOE
The Role
As Chief Rotational Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out all engineering and maintenance duties onboard, supporting the vessel’s planned maintenance system, and working closely with the engineering team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all mechanical and technical systems.
Requirements
• Y3 or EOOW certificate preferred.
• Previous sailing yacht experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of planned maintenance systems.
• Professional team player with the ability to integrate into an established engineering department.
