First Mate

We are looking for a hands-on and experienced First Mate to join a 35m commercial charter yacht based in France for the upcoming Mediterranean charter season.
Position Details:
* 35m Commercial Charter Yacht
* Location: France (Med season)
* Start Date: ASAP
* Contract: seasonal position
* Busy charter program already confirmed
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as First Mate or in a senior deck role with OOW
* Strong hands-on approach on deck and confident leading daily deck operations
* Experience driving and managing chase boats
* Good understanding of ISM and onboard procedures
* Comfortable assisting with admin tasks (logs, compliance, chart corrections)
* Organized, reliable, and able to support the Captain when needed
A well-balanced role with a strong focus on deck operations, combined with involvement in chase boat handling and onboard administration.
Requirements:
* Fluent in English
* Additional languages are a plus
* Positive attitude and strong team spirit
